Expressions +V-ing hay xuất hiện trong Đề THI 2017

Khi những thành ngữ dưới đây được theo sau bởi một động từ, động từ đó phải tận cùng bằng -ing. 
1. It's no use.../It's no good... (thật vô ích)
- There’s nothing you can do about the situation, so it’s no use crying over the split milk
- It’s no good trying to encourage him. He will not listen to you
 (thật vô ích cố gắng khuyến khích a ấy. a ấy sẽ ko chịu nghe bạn đâu
2. There's no point in... (thật vô ích)
- There’s no point in having a car if you never use it.
- There was no point in waiting any longer, so we went.
3. It's (not) worth... (không) đáng
- I live only a short walk from here, so it’s not worth taking a taxi ), 
- a book is worth reading" (một cuốn sách đáng đọc):
- What was a film like? Was it worth seeing? I don’t think newspapers are worth reading.
4. Busy + V-ing (bận)
- Mr Phuong is busy working at the moment, pls leave a message
5. (Have) difficulty/trouble/problem -ing 
- Có thể nói "have difficult doing something" (không phải 'to do'):
Ex She has no difficulty learning English
6. deny (phủ nhận)/admit (thừa nhận)/avoid (tránh)/consider (cân nhắc)/risk (mạo hiểm)/finish/enjoy/like/quit/ suggest (đề nghị) +V-ing
- Mr. Phuong carefully considered buying a new Iphone 6 ^^.
7. Spend + time + V-ing (dành thời gian)
- Mr.Phuong always spends two hours a day talking to..
8. Waste + time/money + V-ing (lãng phí thời gian)
- He never wastes time hanging around with friends.
9/ Mind + Ving (phiền)
         -  Would + S + mind + if + S + V2/ed(were)
Ex: Would you mind opening the door, please ?. It is dark inside
Ex: would you mind if I closed the window?
         - Do + S + mind + If + S + V(s/es)
 -  Do you mind if I borrow your car fow a few minutes, pls?
 - Do you mind not smoking here?
